Edith Barnhardt

Mrs. Edith Little Furr Barnhardt 87 of 10133 Hwy 49 Mt. Pleasant, NC passed away on Monday, December 7, 2009 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Born on December 4, 1922 in Cabarrus County to the late Ayden Little. Also preceded in death by her husband John J. Furr. Mrs. Barnhardt was a boxer in the hosiery industry, and was a member of St. Stephens Wesleyan Church. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 1 PM until 2 PM. Funeral services will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel Concord on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 2 PM, with the Rev. Bill Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Wesleyan Church Cemetery. Survived by: son Mike Furr and wife Barbara of Mt. Pleasant; daughters, Wanda Whitley, and Saundra Page also of Mt.
