Edith Davis

Edith Elizabeth Davis, age 76, of Gastonia passed away on Sunday December 25, 2011 at Heritage Oaks Nursing Home. The family will receive friends from 10am to 10:45am on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The graveside service will follow at 11am at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Robinson officiating. Edith was born on December 4, 1935 to the late Harry Pressley and Louise Green Davis in Charlotte, NC. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jean Davis Eagle. She is survived by her brother, Mitchell Davis and wife Linda of Charlotte, and brother-in-law, Robert L. Eagle of Charlotte. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Davis family.
