Edith Faggart

Mrs. Edith Leona Lewis Faggart, 80 of 5439 Cold Springs Road Concord, NC passed away on Monday, February 08, 2010 at her home. Born on October 22, 1929 in Cabarrus County to the late Raymond Odell Lewis and the late Fronnie Miller Lewis. Also preceded in death by a brother Robert O. Lewis. Mrs. Faggart was a graduate of Concord High School, and a member of Coldwater Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Woolworth and Western Auto in Concord. She retired early to enjoy babysitting her grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 7 until 9 PM. Funeral services will be held at Coldwater Baptist Church on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 3 PM following a 30 Min. state, with the Rev. James T. Posey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survived by: husband, W.G. "Dub" Faggart of the home whom she married on April 01, 1951; sons, Robert "Doug" Faggart and wife Deborah of Concord, and Richard "Rick" Faggart and wife Debra of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Bradley L Faggart, Emily F. Overcash, Ashley F. Pethel, and Hannah E. Faggart; great-grandchildren, Briana Overcash, Brandon Pethel, and Olivia Overcash; sisters, Betty L. Auten of Kannapolis, and Loretta Lewis of Concord; brothers, Jerry Lewis and wife Betty of Concord, Terry Lewis and wife Tammy of Myrtle Beach, SC.
