Edith Hughes

Edith “ Ruth” Miller Hughes, age 68 of Concord passed away on October 17, 2009 at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis. Born in Baltimore, MD on February 13, 1941. Retired as an administrative assistant for Bealer Wholesale, Charlotte. Edith R. Hughes was preceded in death by her mother Edith A. Miller, her father Melvin O. Miller, Sr. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice lane, Kannapolis, NC. The family will meet at the home of Randy and Terry Morgan, 770 Rubens Road, Concord. Graveside service will held on Tuesday,October 20, 2009 at 02:00 PM with Rev. John Harker officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at 770 Rubens Road, Concord. Burial will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens. Edith R. Hughes was survived by her daughter Robin Grubb and husband Steve of Concord NC, Stepdaughter, Tracy Riddle of CA, her son Michael Mumblow of Mocksville NC, Stepson Donnie Hughes of Concord NC.
