Edith Ray Honeycutt Little, 82, of Locust, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast in Concord. Mrs. Little was born May 5, 1931 in Stanly County to the late Noah Walter Honeycutt and Ethel Lucinda Tucker Honeycutt. She retired from Allison’s printing department. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013 at First Baptist Church, 320 South Central Avenue, Locust. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. in the church sanctuary, Rev. Tommy Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Heath James Little of the home; her daughters, Lynn Taylor and her husband, Ricky, and Rita Fink and her husband, Bobby, all of Locust; her sister, Willie Curlee and husband, Bobby of Locust; her grandchildren, Amanda Tuck, Alisha Hammond, Robby Fink, Bradley Fink, and Leah Fink; her great-grandchildren, Jordan, Soren, Bryceson, Paxton, Aiden, Shu-Li, Carson, Connor, and Raylee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
