Edith Little

Edith Mullis Little, 83, of Monroe, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018.

Edith was born November 14, 1934 in Union County to the late Chonce and Ersel Mullis.  She was also preceded in death by beloved husband, Ronald Leo Little; three brothers, Roy, James and Wayne Mullis; and sister, Lela Griffin.

She was an All-County Basketball player for Unionville.  She worked as a bookkeeper at Martin United before her retirement.  Edith was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Monroe.  She was a loving mother, MawMaw and sister.  Edith was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include son, Phillip Little of Mooresville; daughter, Connie (Raymond) Jordan of Iron Station; three grandsons, Jason (Samantha) Little of Duluth, MN, Rami Mihiar of Mooresville, and Tariq Mihiar of Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Avery and Savanna; brothers, Buren (Betty), Hubert (Joyce), Junior, and George Mullis; and sister, Hazel Van Berschot.

The funeral service will be 11:30 am, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Zion United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Fish Rd, Monroe.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:15 am, prior the to service at the church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
