Edith Turner

Edith McClure Turner, 88 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Transitional Health Care in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Turner was born April 6, 1927 in Cabarrus County to the late Lawson P. McClure and Lillian McClure. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alton Paul Turner.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm on Tuesday May, 5, 2015 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Concord . The funeral service will follow in the Church at 1:00 pm officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include son, Joel Turner and wife, Penny of Concord; grandsons, Jared and wife, Tasha Turner of Concord, Avery and wife, Tristin Turner of Concord; great-granddaughter, Abigail Turner of Concord; great-grandson, Tyler Turner of Concord; great-granddaughter, Amelia Turner of Concord, three sisters, Sadie Eudy, Marcell Cox and Oseida Clontz; brother, Charlie McClure.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.
