Edna Barr

Edna Mae Barr, 83 years of age, of Concord, passed away , September 12, 2013. Mrs. Barr was born October 14, 1929 in Oakboro to the late Fletcher Smith and the late Lillian Burris . She was also preceded in death by husband, James Howard Barr, brother, Clyde Smith, brother, Seborn Smith. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm, at Hartsell Funeral Home - Concord. The funeral service will be at 4:00 pm in the Hartsell Chapel officiated by Rev. Jimmy Barrett . Burial will follow at the Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church Cemetery . Survivors include son, Glenn Barr and wife Kathy, daughter, Sharon Burgos and husband Bill, sister, Elsie Gandy, sister, Edith Ross, sister, Louvine Stegall, grandson, James Barr, granddaughter, Laura Barr, granddaughter, Jenny Stewart, grandson, David Stewart Jr. step-grandchildren Matt and Megan Lemonds, Brandy and Steven Hurley, great-grand children Morgan and Chase Hurley.
