Edna Biggers

Edna Mae Biggers, 91, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Biggers was born June 26, 1928 to the late Samuel Jones Motley Sr. and the late Nannie Elizabeth Motley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wade E. "Bud" Biggers, Jr., four brothers and two sisters.

Edna and Bud were married on October 27, 1949. Mrs. Biggers was a long-time member of Pine Bluff United Methodist Church. She loved her family, gardening and spending time outdoors.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 am, Friday, August 9, 2019 at Pine Bluff United Methodist Church, 11000 Reed Mine Road, Midland.. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, officiated by Rev. Arval Rushing and Rev. Dennis Gray. Burial will conclude in the church cemetery.

Edna is survived by her daughter Linda  (John Jr.) Hudson of Danville, VA; grandson, Buddy (MaryBeth) Cooke of Concord, their three children, CharlieMae, Wade and Reece; grandson, Greg (Alison) Hudson of Charlotte and daughter, Amelia.
