Edna Frey

Edna Marie Frey, 78 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.

Mrs. Frey was born May 24, 1937 in Virginia to the late Charles Creed Carter and the late Lois Florence Carter. She was also predeceased by brothers Billy Carter, Roy Carter and sister Florene Andrews.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Central United Methodist Church fellowship hall. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Central United Methodist Church of Albemarle officiated by Rev. Samuel H. Moore, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Don Carloes Frey of Albemarle; three sons, Don Carloes Frey, Jr. and wife Jill of Dallas, GA, Michael Frey and wife Roxanne of Montclair, VA and Kevin Frey of Salisbury; three daughters, Linda Waddell and husband Wayne of Fredericksburg, VA, Sandra Frey of Albemarle, and Kimberly Hopkins and husband Scott of Albemarle; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
