Edna Herrin

Edna Marie Herrin, 89, of Midland, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 after an extended illness surrounded by her family at Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.

Mrs. Herrin was born April 8, 1928 in Cabarrus County to the late Ivey Conrad and Alice (Martin) Burris. She was preceded in death by husband, Everette Herrin and grandson, Michael McCoslin.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Pine Bluff United Methodist Church in Midland with funeral services to follow in the church at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Arval Rushing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include daughter, Kathy Ridenhour (Rick) of Rockwell, NC; son, Danny L. (Cyndi) Herrin of Concord, NC; son, Larry E. Herrin of Rockwell, NC; grandchildren, Kenza (Michael), Jessica, Shane (Tabitha), Kelly (Adam); and 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glenn Kiser Hospice House at 1229 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Glenn Kiser for their care and Love to her and her family.
