Edward Danks

Rev. Edward Royal Danks, 80, of 3700 Taylor Glen Lane Concord passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011. He was born on August 7, 1931 in Essex County New Jersey to the late Edward Danks, Jr. and Olive May Enstice Danks. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Lorraine Danks and a son Thomas A. Danks. Rev. Danks was a graduate of Houghton College, NY and Princeton Theological Seminary, NJ. He was a member of Presbytery of Southern New England. After retiring he served as a missionary in Kenya. A Graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11 AM, with Rev. Ken Craig officiating. He is survived by his wife Coreen Luciw Danks of Concord; son, Edward Stephen Danks of AZ; daughter, Debra Lynne Annin of Greer, SC; brothers, Howard Danks of Pinehurst, Richard Danks of Kirkland, OH; sister, Marilyn Edleston of NJ; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
