Edward J. "Buck" Linker, Sr.

Edward J. "Buck" Linker, Sr., 83, of Midland, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte.

Buck was born July 9, 1940 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Buford Edward Linker and the late Marie Honeycutt Linker. 
He was also preceded in death by brother, Roger Dale Linker, Sr. and sister, Doris Junker.

Survivors include wife of 66 years, Doris Mason Linker of the home; sons, Edward Jacob Linker, Jr. (Cindy) of Sharon, SC, Jimmy Linker (Lori) of Midland, NC, and Douglas "Butch" Linker (Dean) of Midland, NC; and grandchildren, Miranda Moore (Hobie), Kelsey Brooks (Michael), and Jamie York (Austin).

Buck enjoyed working in the yard and garden, he especially loved flowers. He also enjoyed fishing and riding his UTV. Buck loved his dog, BoBo and cats, Blackie and Rascal.

Services will be private.
