Elaine Thomson

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce, Elaine Diane Thomson, 56, of Concord, was relieved of her pain on 01/06/2022.

Elaine was born June 7, 1965 in New Jersey to the late Robert Thomson Sr. and Irene Thomson.

Elaine flew her angel wings into the arms of her pre-deceased father Robert Sr and brother, Robert Jr.

Elaine was a strong warrior, she battled metastatic breast cancer for 6 years and wouldn't let it win. COVID-19 became the adversary that she couldn't overcome

Elaine is survived by her mother Irene, daughter Courtney, and the love of her life, grandson Elijah, all from Concord. She is also survived by her sisters Cathy, Barbara and Renee. Her nieces, Allison and Lisa, nephews Jason, John and Dylan.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A life celebration will immediately follow from 1:30PM-4:00PM at the Glen Laurel Country Club located at 3320 Glen Laurel Drive, Concord NC, 28025.

In lieu of flowers, there is a Go Fund Me page in Courtney's name to contribute to Elijah's college fund.
