Eldridge Eudy, Jr.

Eldridge "E.B." Bascom Eudy Jr., 72, of Concord, NC passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

E.B. was born October 24, 1949 in Concord, NC to the late Eldridge Bascom Eudy Sr. and the late Myrtle Lowder Eudy.

Survivors include his wife Carol Franklin Eudy of the home; son, Bradley Alan Eudy and wife Sara of Georgia; son, Kevin Ashley Eudy and wife Whitney of Tega Cay, SC; daughter, Susanne Eudy Little and husband Scott of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Wesley, Dillon, Kayley, Conner, Kaleb, Chris, Makenna and Colton; and great granddaughters, Raelyn and Dakota.

E.B. was married to the love of his life for 52 years. His children, and all of his grandchildren, were his pride and joy. E.B.’s grandchildren always knew him as “Pop”, a name he accepted whole-heartedly. He was hardworking, having supported his family for 40 years at the same job. E.B.’s two favorite places in life were serving at his church and spending time with his children and grandchildren. E.B.’s favorite hobby, for all of his life, was classic cars. He restored, with the help of his two sons, a 1963 Ford Fairlane, which was affectionately called “The Bucket”.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.
