Eleanor Irene (Bott) Gardinier

Eleanor Irene (Bott) Gardinier, Locust, NC went to be with her Lord on January 15, 2024.

Born September 27, 1935, in Harrisville, Venango County, PA, she was the daughter of Ernest and Bessie Gibson Bott.

 A registered Nurse, graduating from Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, New Castle, PA, she worked at Cory Hospital, Chardon, OH, Northside and St. Elizabeth hospitals, Youngstown, OH. Upon moving to Pompano Beach, FL, Mrs. Gardinier continued private duty nursing in Ft Lauderdale and Boca Raton. Moving to Locust NC in 2000 she served with Presbyterian Home Care, (later) Advanced Home Care, retiring in 2006. 

Eleanor married Charles B. Gardinier on October 20, 1956, in Harrisville PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, August 3, 1985, son, Ernest Scott, August 30, 2012, and her daughter-in-law, Ellen (Mutter) Gardinier, July 8, 2006, and her parents, Bessie Gibson Bott and Ernest Bott.

 Eleanor is survived by her son, Wayne David Gardinier of Locust; two grandchildren Cody and Jessica Gardinier of Locust, two great-grandchildren Brantley Gardinier and Carson Jenkins of Locust, sister, Betty Bott Calderwood (William) and Virginia Bott Claunch (Jerry) and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services at her request. Burial will be in Pompano Beach Cemetery, Pompano Beach, FL.
