Elfriede Maria Finger Wood, 66, of 388 Pitt School Road Concord passed away on Sunday March 13, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. She was born on March 2, 1945 in Germany to the late Otto and Maria Finger. Elfriede was a homemaker. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 2 PM, with Rev. Cha officiating. She is survived by: her husband of 47 years, Calvin Lesperance Wood of the home; sons, Steven Wood of the home, Calvin Wood and wife Hyon of Concord; granddaughter, Maria Wood; mother-in-law, Jacqueline Bourbonniere.
