Eli Parker

Eli "Cecil" Parker, 82 years of age, of Marshville, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at home in Marshville. He was born May 28, 1931 in Anson County to the late Jesse Thomas Parker and the late Clanie Thomas Parker . The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow Thursday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel officiated by Elder Ted Morton and Rev Caroll Anthony. Burial will follow at the Oakboro Cemetery. Survivors include wife, Ruby Lois Parker of Marshville, NC; daughter, Kristin (Roger) Cox of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Travis Brandon Cox and Tiffany Brooke Cox.
