Elizabeth Biggers

Elizabeth Canupp Biggers, 96, of Charlotte, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

Elizabeth was born in 1921 in Richfield to the late Daniel and Hattie Canupp.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Biggers; granddaughter, Wendy Marie Caldwell; one brother; and four sisters.

Elizabeth was a member of Center United Methodist Church, Concord and most recently attended Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church, Charlotte.  She loved camping, gardening and helping raise her grandchildren.  She enjoyed having everything in its place.  Elizabeth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include daughter, Sylvia (Bill) Caldwell of Charlotte; grandson, Brent (Melissa) Caldwell of Bristol, TN; granddaughter, Shelly (Ryan) Botzenmayer of Charlotte; and great-grandchildren, Emma and Cole Botzenmayer.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 am at Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Dr. Tom Steagald.  Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
