Elizabeth Coble

Elizabeth "Pat" Amelia Tucker Coble, 82 years of age, of Locust, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle.

Pat was born June 9, 1932 in Stanly County to the late Paul Arthur Tucker and the late Fronia Sasser Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Price Coble; and son, Steve Coble.

The graveside service will be at 3 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, 12568 Philadelphia Church Road in Stanfield, with Rev. Dwight Mabry officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. At other times the family will be gathering at the home of her daughter, Paula.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula C. Eagle and husband Scott of Faith; grandsons, Mark Coble of Locust, and Dylan Eagle of Faith; granddaughter, Paige Eagle of Faith; brother, Paul Tucker, Jr. and wife, Lynn of Raleigh.

Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was an animal lover, and enjoyed flowers and working in the family nursery.
