Elizabeth Eugene McGuire, 84 years of age, of Mount Pleasant, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Carolina's Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
She was born June 23, 1930 in North Carolina to the late Floyd Brown Sutton and the late Inez Sutton.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord officiated by Rev. Robert Howard and Rev. William Patrick. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery at 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord.
Survivors include sons, Jackie McGuire of Concord, NC, Ronnie MeGuire of Mount Pleasant, NC, and Ricky McGuire of Misenheimer, NC; daughters, Martha Elizabeth Ritch of Misenheimer, NC, Carolyn Pressley of Mount Pleasant, NC, and Linda Presley of Kannapolis, NC; sister, Mable Medlin of Mount Pleasant, NC; 16 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth was a member of The Universal House of Prayer, 2999 Eva Dr NW, Concord, NC.
