Elizabeth Ann Medlin, 79 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at Doscher Memorial hospital in Southport.
Lib was born January 22, 1938 in Stanly County to the late Theodore Franklin Medlin and the late Mary Melinda Austin Medlin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, June 19, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. The graveside service will be on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m at Mt. Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Mountain Creek Road, New London. Rev. Joseph Franklin Medlin, Jr., nephew of Lib, will officiate.
Lib dedicated her life to the care of others, working at Stanly Regional Hospital for over 40 years.
Survivors include her brother, Joe (Ann) Medlin of Southport; nieces and nephews, Shandi (Robert) Sellers, Rev. Joey (Crystal) Medlin, Madison Stanley, Christopher Howard, Jr, Solomon Medlin.
Memorials may be made to Mountain Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
