Elizabeth Rummage

Elizabeth Ann Rummage, 62, of New London, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at her home in New London.

Libby was born December 18, 1958 in North Carolina to the late William Clete Loftin Jr. and the late Katherine Ann Parsons Loftin. She was also preceded in death by husband, Terry Avery Rummage, and brother, Billy Loftin.

Survivors include sons, James Robert Rummage of New London, NC, and Terry Avery (Sherri) Rummage, Jr. of Albemarle, NC, granddaughters, Alyssa (Daniel) Brabaw, Skylar Rummage, Mia Rummage, Maria Rummage, and Samantha Rummage, grandson, Dylan Rummage, great-grandson, Grayson Lee Brabaw, sister, Tammy Howell, and brother, Richard Loftin.

Libby was a selfless individual who was always caring for others, including in her career at DSS. She would go out of the way to help somebody and didn't have a bad thing to say about anyone. She enjoyed vacationing in the mountains, at the beach, on cruises, and anywhere around water. She also dearly loved her dog, Buddy. Libby's memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and those she has helped in life.
