Elizabeth Smith

Elizabeth Shular Smith, 88, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle.

Ms. Smith was born August 18, 1931to the late John Henry and Emma Dillon Shular. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Smith; sons, Earnest Smith, Jr., Jeff Smith, Anthony Smith; four granddaughters and one grandson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019, at 1:00 pm, at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Pugh. Burial will follow at the Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2225 East Main Street, Albemarle.

Elizabeth is survived by, daughters, Tammy Swaringen, Bonnie Dunn, Ann Gregory, Saundra Lowder, Robin (Wendell) Bowers, Wendy (Mark) Norris, Ginger (Stanley) Terry; Kimberly Smith; son, Todd (Rhonda) Smith; 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
