Ella Earnhardt

Ella Mae Harvell Earnhardt, 100, of Concord, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012, at home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Monday, April 16, 2011 from 1 until 2 pm. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2 pm, with Rev. Buster Pigg officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord. Ella was born on January 23, 1912, in Anson County to the late General George and Minnie Josephine Cannup Harvell. She was also preceded in death by her husband Chester Lee Earnhardt and daughters Betty Keeter and Doris Williams. Ella was a past member of Wil-Mar Park Baptist Church and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church when able. She retired from Willis Hosiery Mill after many years of employment. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Earnhardt Ballard and her husband Edward of Concord; grandchildren, Mark Williams, Eric Williams, David Keeter and wife Robin, Aleisa Beck and husband Kenny, Terry Stowe, Cindy Reed, Stephanie Shore, Kristy Simpson and husband Jimmy; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Erica Williams, Weston Williams, Kayla Reed, Justin Shore, Noah Simpson, Nickolas Simpson; five great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church 42 Lisk Avenue NW Concord, NC 28027 or Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Lane Kannapolis, NC 28081.
