Ella Stiller

Ella Louise Ritchie Stiller, 84 years of age, of Stanly County, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. Ms. Stiller was born in Stanly County to the late Ruben Dirk Ritchie and the late Flora Bell Parker Ritchie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Olin Bain Stiller, in 2012. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Shelly Ritchie, and three sisters, Clara Rogers, Ruby Bunch, and Betty Register. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Sunday, July 14, 2013, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Roger Thomas and Rev. Court Greene, will be held at First Baptist Church, Albemarle on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM with a 30 minute state prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. At other times, the family will meet at her home. A member of First Baptist Church, Ella was the Preschool Sunday School teacher for many years. She retired from Knitsters as a seamstress. She is survived by her sons, Ritchie Stiller and wife, Kris, and Tim Stiller and wife, Lori, all of New London; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Sydney, Kelly, Jason and Jenna. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Stiller family.
