Ellen Canine

Ellen Bennett Canine, 92, of Concord, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at her home. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends after the service. Mrs. Canine was born on July 04, 1919, to the late William Alma Bennett and the late Grace Elizabeth Lindsay Bennett. Ellen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Fulton Canine; her daughter, Holly Clark and husband James of Kannapolis; and a sister, Martha Kirtland of Texas; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
