Ellen Frances Stancil Cline, 87, of Concord, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Ellen was born January 17, 1931 in Cabarrus County to the late Paul and Lois Stancil. She was also preceded in death by beloved husband, Jack Ray Cline, Sr.; son, Jack Ray Cline, Jr.; son, John Anthony "Tony" Cline; brother, Paul Curtis Stancil.
Ellen was a lifetime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was a very loving person that dedicated her life to caring for others. She retired after 25 years from NorthEast Hospital.
Survivors include daughter, Kathy (Aaron) Cranford; daughter, Amy (Donald) Robinson; son, Mark (Andrea) Cline; brother, Larry (Linda) Stancil, Sr.; grandchildren, Crystal (Michael) Whitmire, Jessica (Ryan) Clark, Natalie (Brandon) Bailey, Jantzen (Natalie) Cranford, Crystal (Alan) Hefner, and Brian (Lindsey) Robinson; great-grandchildren, Jake, Max, Laikyn, Drake, Casen, Jubilee, Abbi, and Jacob; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 3, 2018 from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 4877 NC Hwy 200, Concord, officiated by Rev. David Alan Thompson, Jr. Ellen will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
