Elsie Blackwelder

Elsie Mae Page Blackwelder, age 80 of Hwy 73, Albemarle, NC passed away on January 25, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord. She was born in Stanly County on March 31, 1929. Elsie Mae Page Blackwelder was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Whitney Blackwelder 1986, her mother Iredell Moyle Page, her father Hardy Washington Page. She retired as a weaver from Cannon Mills with 42 years of service. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 06:00 PM 08:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. Graveside service will held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Herrins Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Daniel McClamrock officiating. She was survived by her daughter Kathy Mauldin of Mt. Pleasant NC, her sons Harold Page and wife Sue of Norwood NC, Charles Wayne Page and wife Brenda of Albemarle NC, her 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and 3 sisters.
