Elvin Poplin

Elvin Cladine Poplin, 92, of New London, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at  his home.

Mr. Poplin was born August 22, 1927  to the late Arnold W. Poplin and the late Nannie Lou Poplin.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Eddus Poplin, and his second wife, Suzanne Poplin.

The family will receive friends from  2pm-3pm, Sunday January 19, 2020 in Albemarle, NC. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will take place in Poplin's Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

Survivors include Step-son, Robert Ravon Hill and his wife, Sharon; Step-Grandson, Robert Allen Hill and his wife, Brenda; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Sarah Hill.
