Emanuel Bailey

Emanuel "Mac" Eugene Bailey, 74, of Concord, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020.

Mac was born September 29, 1945, in Peach Creek, WV to the late Freer and Nina Bailey.  He was also preceded in death by siblings, Ralph, Fred, Edna, Gernia, Monroe, Kyle, Phyllis, Jimmie, and Marcella.

Mac was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He was also a hard working man that dedicated much time and effort providing for his family while working at ACF (American Car and Foundry Company) and ultimately retired from Fidelity Federal. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and Poppaw.  Mac enjoyed most of all, spending time with his family. He was a God-fearing man who dedicated his life to the Lord and was known for his tremendous amount of faith, which ultimately rewarded him with peace in the end. He was a gentle and soft-spoken man who would have done anything he could for those in need. Mac longed for the day that he could walk those golden streets and sit at the feet of our Savior. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his family and friends, who now celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his maker.

Mac was blessed with a loving family, with survivors including his wife of more than 50 years whom he cherished greatly, Janet L. Bailey; daughters, Sherri Seda and husband, Gabriel, of Concord, NC; Michelle McCarty and husband, Timothy, of Concord, NC; sister, Linda Barker of Chesapeake, OH; grandchildren Brittany Burris, Brycen McCarty, and Braxten McCarty, and one great-grandson on the way.

Upon Macs wishes there will be no service held, although prayers and condolences are greatly appreciated by the family.
