Emanuel Hester

Retired Chiropractor, Emanuel Ray Hester, 79 years of age passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Pisgah Valley Retirement Community in Candler, NC.
Dr. Hester was born August 17, 1934 in Frankfort, Alabama to the late Elbert Hester and Sarah Willis Hester. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris in 2010.
Burial was at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC on Tuesday May 6, 2014. A memorial service will be held on June 21, 2014 at Kannapolis Church of Christ, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Kirk Sams.
Survivors include son, Eric and wife, Becky, Hester from Sylva, NC; Jan and husband, Nick, Luquire of Asheville, NC; grandchildren include, Erin, Emily and Eden Luquire and Carly and Avery Hester; and brother, Samuel Hester of Henderson, TN.
