Emily Ann Rogers Austin, 77, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at PruittHealth - Town Center in Harrisburg.
Emily was born November 21, 1942 in Stanly County to the late Herbert Ernest Rogers and Louise Lowder Rogers Whitley. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eulan Lee Austin.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 20987 NC 73 Hwy, Albemarle, NC 28001.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Garrett; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at PruittHealth for their compassionate care. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Mary Ward for all of her love and care she selflessly gave.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
