Emma Louise Burris Eudy of 13428 Booger Hollar Road, Oakboro, passed away, Friday, January 15, 2010 at Britthaven of Piedmont. Born in Stanly County , NC, June 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther Burris and the late Minnie Florence Talbert Burris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Brace Calvin Eudy in 2004. She is survived by sons; Donnie Nash Eudy and wife Louise of Oakboro, Rocky Burris Eudy and wife Debbie of Albemarle and Biff Michael Eudy and wife Connie of Albemarle; daughter, Kindra Eudy Taylor of Concord; brother, J.D. Burris and wife Carol Lee of Oakboro; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was retired from Wiscassett Mills after 45 years. She was a member of the Women on Missions Ministry at Kinza Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 16 from 7 to 9 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 17, at 2 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Howard and Dr. Rev. Terrell Watts will officiate. Burial will be in Smith's Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Oakboro.
