Emma Taylor

Emma Ellen Taylor, 83 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.

Emma was born May 18, 1931 in Gaston County, North Carolina, to the late Charlie Lee Taylor and the late Lizzie Mae Kiker Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday, February 2, at 1:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Pastor Chuck Griffin. Burial will follow at the Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery at 1715 Hopewell Church Rd., Peachland.

Survivors include three brothers, C. L. (Barbara) Taylor of Indian Trail, Wayne (Judy) Taylor of Peachland, and Leroy (Inez) Taylor of Florida; a sister, Evelyn Medlin of Norwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Taylor family.
