Ephriam Furr

Ephriam A. Furr, 78, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010, at his residence. He was formerly of Stanfield, NC. Mr. Furr was born February 19, 1932, in Cabarrus County. His parents, Lonnie Lee Furr and Bessie Walters Furr, preceded him in death. He retired from the Air Force ranked as E-9. Visitation will be held 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Midland, officiated by Rev. Larry Perry. Burial will follow at Love’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Stanfield. Survivors include his wife, Kulya Furr, of the home; sons, Tanoo Lek Furr and Michael Furr; daughter, Kannika Oy Furr; brothers, Charlie David and Lonnie “Toby” Furr; sisters Clara Hatley, Sarah Love, Mable Hartsell and Brenda Morgan; and grandchildren, Adam A. Furr and Ephriam A Furr, Jr.
