Ernest Lee Eudy of 516 Renee Ford Rd., Locust, passed from this life to be with God on Saturday, February 13th. Mr. Eudy , 79 was born October 21, 1930 to Grover Cleveland Eudy and Lectie Jane Huneycutt Eudy, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Lou Mills; daughter Sheila Aldridge and husband Gene; sons Jerel Eudy and his wife Kathy, and Gary Eudy; 7 grandchildren: Eric Aldridge, Brandi Friend, Wesley Eudy, Christa Huneycutt, Lindsey Eudy, Seth and Bethany Eudy, and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Eudy took pride in his family business, Eudy’s Cabinets, which he began in 1963. Mr. Eudy enjoyed sitting with his wife, and listening to gospel singing. He served his country in the US Navy in 1950. The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 16th at 2:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church where he was a member, served as a deacon, and a choir director. Officiating will be Pastor Charlie Littlejohn and Rev. Patrick Womack. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall after the service. The family wishes to thank all the friends and loved ones that have sent cards and prayers during Mr. Eudy’s illness. The family meeting place will be at the home on Renee Ford Rd. Lastly, the family thanks brothers, sisters, and friends who have helped in many ways over the past years to make his life easier, and also to Ronald and Diane Burris, Patsy Blankenship, and Judy Mills for helping take care of our Mr. Eudy during this difficult time.
