Ernest Gardinier

Ernest Scott Gardinier, 49, of Ridgecrest Road, Locust, North Carolina, passed away on August 30, 2012 following a lengthy illness. Family and friends of Scott will be received at the Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle, North Carolina on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Henry Anderson of the Sonshine Church, officiating. Interment will be in Pompano Beach Cemetery. Born September 24, 1962 in Youngstown, Ohio, Scott was the son of Charles and Eleanor Bott Gardinier. He was a member of the Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church, and worked for SCI at Baird Case Funeral Home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for 6 years. Scott is survived by his mother, Eleanor Gardinier; his brother, Wayne David Gardinier; his Aunts - Betty Calderwood and her husband, Bill; Virginia Claunch and her husband, Jerry; and Winnie Gardinier; his Uncle, Richard Gardinier and his wife, Denise; his niece, Jessica Gardinier; and his nephew, Cody Gardinier. He is also survived by numerous cousins. In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Patricia Gardinier; and his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Bessie Bott. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Gardinier family.
