Ernestine Clemons

Ernestine "Earnie" Francis Clemons, 66 years of age, of Albemarle, formerly of Clewiston, FL, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Earnie was born April 17, 1947 in West Virginia to the late Irwin Earl Francis and the late Thelma Marie Francis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Judy Copeland, will be on Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Wayne Clemons of Albemarle; daughters, Amy (Jay) Mills and Teresa Avila, both of New London; son, Dougie (Kim) Clemons of Clewiston, FL; brothers, Wendell Francis of IN and Henry Francis of NY; sisters, Ruth Lapp of FL and Rose Chambers of NY; and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Wesley, & Cody Clemons, Kyle Wilson, Catherine Smith, Jared Brackins, and Jay Mills, Jr. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Clemons family.
