Ernestine Marie Parker, 79 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Universal Healthcare in Concord.
Ernestine was born September 3, 1937 in North Carolina to the late John Ernest Lowder and the late Eliza Selena Lowder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Richard Parker, Jr.; son, Ricky Gene Parker and sister, Carolyn Solomon.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Monday, January 16, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Monday at 12:30 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord in officiated by Rev. Frank Sossamon. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Survivors include her niece, Wanda & husband, Homer Lee Clay of Concord; son, Randal Wayne Parker; sister, Elizabeth Sossamon, brothers, Robert Lowder, James Lowder and J.W. & wife, Debbie Lowder; granddaughters, Chrisitian Danielle Parker and Jessica Amber Parker; great-grandson, Noah Lewis Parker.
