Ervin Fesperman

Ervin Norris Fesperman, 78 years of age, of Locust, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Fesperman was born January 21, 1938 to the late Fred Allen Fesperman and Bessie Lambert Fesperman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by daughter, Kim Fesperman, and sisters, Jeanie Ragsdale and Truly Fesperman.

Ervin honorably served four years in the United States Air Force, followed by many years of volunteer service to The Ridgecrest Fire Department as Treasurer. He was an avid golfer and Tarheel fan. Ervin was a devoted Elder in his church and loved to sing God's praises. He will be remembered most however, as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 24517 Ridgecrest Rd. Locust. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the sanctuary officiated by Pastor Larry Pittman. Burial will follow in the Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Marlene Fesperman of the home; sons, Jeff Fesperman and wife Amanda of LaSalle, IL, Tim Fesperman and wife Autumn of Chester, VA; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church, 24517 Ridgecrest Rd. Locust, NC.
