Ervin Howard

Ervin Milton Howard, 67, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle, one hour prior to the service. The memorial service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 11:00 am. Rev. Lowell Brown will officiate. Private burial will be at a later time. Born April 19, 1945 in Chatham County, GA., he was the son of the late Huffman Horace Howard and the late Elsie Pauline Whitley Howard. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Vann Johnson Howard of the home; son Jeffrey Howard and wife Pam of Lexington; sister Barbara Garrett and husband Douglas of Norwood; sister-in-law Ellen Mabry and husband Buddy of Albemarle; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Mr. Howard was a sewing machine fixer for Fieldcrest Cannon in Albemarle. He served in the National Guard. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Howard family.
