Estelle Burris

Estelle Bailey Burris, age 91 of Woodhaven Court, Albemarle, passed away on April 27, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Services will be conducted at a later time in Winston-Salem. She was a spinner for Wiscassett Mills and a member of Albemarle Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Born in Florence, SC on July 20, 1918, she is the daughter of the late William Edward Bailey and the late Sarah Elizabeth Summerford Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Earl Burris; son, Charles Vernon Burris; one grandson and one great grandson. She is survived by her son, Jack Burris, Jr. of Winston-Salem; daughter Virginia Lemmons of Albemarle; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 26 great great grandchildren.
