Ethel Mills

Ethel Love Mills, 97, of Stanfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 6-8. The funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Bruce League, will be held at Stanfield Baptist Church, 12074 NC Hwy 200 Stanfield NC 28163, on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 2. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times the family will meet at the home of her niece, Brenda Morgan. Ethel was born on February 14, 1915, to the late Elam C. Love and the late Fannie Jane Osborne Love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Columbus Mills; five brothers, Lonnie, Wade, Johnny, Bill and Marvin Love; and three sisters, Lizzie Mullis, Mamie Trull and Dessie Furr. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
