Etheron Coley, Jr

Etheron “Junior” Coley, Jr., age 68 of Albemarle, passed away on October 23, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Immanuel Baptist Church from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Thursday, October 27, 2011. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm, officiated by Pastor Joe Smith. Mr. Coley was born in Stanly County on March 18, 1943 to the late Etheron Coley, Sr. and the late Esther Hatley Coley. He is survived by his wife, Mary “Elaine” Smith Coley of the home: sons, Tim Coley of Albemarle, Dustin Coley and Zachary Coley, both of Oakboro; daughters, Liz Cox of Albemarle, Tina Slater of Winston-Salem, Becky Coley of Albemarle; son, Landy Almond of Albemarle; sisters, Katherine Eskrine of Florida and Barbara Lowder of Albemarle; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
