Eula Kimsey

Eula Irene Sanders Kimsey, 77 years of age, of Midland, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at CMC - NorthEast in Concord. Irene was born March 4, 1937 in Chase City, Virginia to the late Grady Phillip Sanders and the late Allie Jane Smith Sanders. She was also proceeded in death by her daughter, Paula Annette Kimsey. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Richard Collins. The burial will be at the Oakboro Cemetery. At other times the family will be gathering at the home. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ray Columbus Kimsey of the home; sons, Douglas Ray Kimsey and wife Diane of Stanfield, Rodney Dean Kimsey and wife Terry of Millingport, and Christopher Mark Kimsey and wife Barbara of Midland; daughter, Teresa K. Whitley of Midland; grandchildren, Josh, Alex, Phillip, Rodney, Karrie, Taylor, Jason, Julie, Teresa, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Gavin, Nola, Cody, Kalab, Trey, Lydia, Justin, Courtney, Kelsey, Briana, and Dakota; sisters, Pearl and Dolly; and brothers, Willard and Froggy. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Kimsey family.
