Eulan Austin

Eulan Lee Austin, 63, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at his residence. Eulan was born February 21, 1950 in Stanly County to the late J. B. Austin and Ruth Barbee Austin of Albemarle. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the home of Sherry Hinson, 9871 Richard Sandy Road, Oakboro and Friday, August 23, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. A graveside service officiated by Rev. Keith Walters will follow at 4:00 PM at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 20987 NC 73 Hwy., Albemarle. He is survived by his loving wife of 41years, Emily Rogers Austin of Albemarle; mother Ruth Barbee Austin of Oakboro; daughter, Kelly Garrett of Albemarle; brothers, Ronnie Austin and wife, Judy, and Gary Austin and wife, Jane, all of Oakboro; sisters, Sherry Hinson and husband, Reggie and Bonnie Aldridge and husband, Ronny, all of Oakboro; grandson, Johnathan Garrett and granddaughter, Evie Garrett of Albemarle. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 20987 NC Hwy., Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Austin family.
