Eunice Johnson

Eunice “Peggy” Maxine Johnson, 85, of Salisbury, NC passed away on Monday, May 23 at her home. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 26 from 12:30-2 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The service will begin at 2 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Larry Beaver will officiate the services. Ms. Johnson was born in Cabarrus County on December 7, 1925 to the late Henry and Helen Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Junior Johnson. Eunice worked in the restaurant industry for many years. Ms. Johnson is survived by her daughters, Helen Durham Coggins of Salisbury, and Barbara (Sue) Furr of Concord; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren. The family would like to thank Kerry Martin of Rowan Hospice, and also the nurses of Hospice of Rowan County for all their caring help.
