Mrs. Eva Lee Allen Mrs. Allen, 84, of Concord, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at her home. She was born February 21, 1928 to the late Temes and Grace Kelly Phipps. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her husband Joe. She is survived by her; daughters, Shirley Flannery and her husband Thomas, and Shelia Maes; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 10 – 12 noon at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. The funeral service will be at 12 noon in the chapel with burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to West Concord Baptist Church, 225 Warren C. Coleman Blvd. N., Concord, NC 28027. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Allen family.
