Eva Blackwelder

Eva  Blackwelder, 84, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, March 12, 2018.
She was born September 18, 1933 to the late Reverend Robert Blane Lisk and Annie Elizabeth Blackwelder Lisk.
She was a wonderful cook, she loved  children,  and her two granddaughters were her life.  She loved the Lord and she loved her church.  She served in many areas, including teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir.  Because of her love for children, she worked many years at Harrisburg Elementary School Cafeteria and also at Harrisburg Presbyterian Church childcare center.

The family will receive friends from 7:00pm -9:00pm ,Thursday March 15, 2018 , at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, NC. The funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Friday, March 16, 2018  at Mallard Creek Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC.. Burial will follow at the  at Harrisburg Baptist Church in Harrisburg, NC.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Hal Blackwelder, daughter, Tammy  Morgan of Concord, NC, granddaughters, Lila Pickler and Anabel Morgan of Concord, NC, sisters, Betty Furr of Monroe, NC,  and Fay Blackwelder of Concord, NC,and brother, Reverend Donald Lisk of Concord, NC.
